Hiking in all colours
Brown, red, orange, ochre and yellow. Experience a range of colours from the leaves falling from the trees in any of Padrón's parks as you take a leisurely stroll. You can also climb Santiaguiño del Monte and admire the views of the Sar Valley, take the immortal Ruta Rosaliana, the last stage of the Portuguese Camino to Santiago, or, in the opposite direction, the Pedronía Way, which will take you to the exact spot where the Apostle made his sacred landing in the municipality.
If you like mycology, our town is ideal for getting lost in the woods and organising a mushroom and seasonal fruit gathering with friends. Enjoy this activity responsibly, consulting the local regulations, filling your basket only with identifiable specimens and rejecting the newest mushrooms or those you do not know, so you can avoid possible mushroom poisoning and celebrate this natural festival safely.
Star dishes and the grape harvest
You will find the most autumnal gastronomic experience with us. At the Brandal restaurant, classic Galician cuisine with premium ingredients, a space designed for a special meal of seafood, meat and fish, for example, on All Saints' Day. You can also opt for the home-cooked food at Hotel Scala in Magosto, or treat yourself at Asador O'Pazo, which offers gourmet grilled dishes. We recommend booking a table in advance on 981 811 312.
You can also enjoy a tasting at the Pazo Arretén hotel, now that we are in the middle of the grape harvest. The Pazo Arretén, D'eli Finca A Pousa and Iriensis wines, made from Albariño grapes harvested in our vineyards, have a special character due to the direct influence of the Ulla and Sar rivers. With the verses of Rosalía de Castro in the background, discover the history and production process of our product accompanied by a selection of pinchos. We look forward to seeing you!
